Tongs, Tweezers and Forceps

Transferring your carefully prepared sample to your analyser safely and without contamination is an important task. Which tongs or tweezers are most suitable for your sample containment?

Tongs for large crucibles (23mm or greater in diameter)

Typically used with ceramic crucibles. Long and wide handled; allows for use of heat protective gloves. See Fig.1
