Elemental Microanalysis offers a range of standards with varying C:N ratios. Historically, atropine has been offered as a product having a very high C:N ratio (70.56%C: 4.84%N). However, due to atropine’s extreme toxicity, a less hazardous alternative is now offered for use where a high C:N ratio is required – tocopherol nicotinate (70.56%C: 2.61%N).
This Organic Analytical Standard (OAS) consists of a purified and homogeneous batch of tocopherol nicotinate for use as a routine working micro-analytical standard for the determination of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen.
Organic standards from Elemental Microanalysis are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.) Maryland USA and/or (where appropriate) other accredited certification organisations. These materials are suitable for use as working standards for elemental analysis and are supplied with batch Certificates of Analysis.
This product offers the same high quality and value for money that is typical of Elemental Microanalysis’ entire product range.
